Welcome to Church of the Redeemer!
Church of the Redeemer is a mission church of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Lakeland, FL and the Southwest Florida Presbytery (PCA). We have been called and sent to plant a church in the city we love -Winter Haven, Florida.
Our goal is not just a great church but a great city!
We meet for worship on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am at our facilities located at 1410 Dundee Road. Childcare is provided from nursery through 5th grade.
Throughout the Fall we are going to be looking at the Life of David from 1 and 2 Samuel. We have entitled the sermon series "David and David's Son" because Israel's hope for a king that would lead them in righteousness and justice and fulfill God's purposes in the earth was to be fulfilled through David and, particularly, through David's Son- the long-awaited Messiah. Jesus Christ. He is called in the New Testament the "Son of David" because he is One greater than David who has come into the world to make all things new. Come and join us as we seek a greater faith in Jesus, the Son of David and as we learn together what it means for us to live as his followers in the world.
