Mercy Team:
This team, which consists of the Deacons, oversees the distribution and use of Redeemer's benevolence fund. It is the work of the mercy team to assess needs as they arise in the congregation, according to the following order of priority - members, regular attenders, and visitors.
This principle of meeting needs flows from Galatians 6.10: "So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."
It is also the task of the mercy team to explore ways in which Redeemer can partner with local ministries of mercy to see gospel-based empowerment of the poor take place in the Winter Haven area.
Mercy Leader: Jonathan Winfree
Mission Team:
The mission team is responsible for overseeing and promoting the missional pathways of Redeemer - on both the local and global level. This team oversees and crafts the missions budget of the church on a yearly basis, subject to the approval of the Session.
The mission team plans and coordinates yearly mission trips to Nicaragua and Uganda, as well as addresses any financial obstacles that might hinder a person from taking a trip. It is also the goal of this team to make the congregation aware of opportunities for serving our neighbors - in both Winter Haven and the world.
Mercy Leader: Jonathan Winfree
Assimilation Team:
The Assimilation Team is responsible for incorporating new comers into the corporate life (i.e. “culture”) of the church plant – planning church-wide social gatherings and evangelistic events, connecting them with a Community Group, etc. They are also responsible for hospitality on Sunday mornings – scheduling Community Groups to greet, providing refreshments after the service, etc.
Assimilation Leader(s): Jaime Winfree

Women's Ministry Team:
Scripture explains that relationships between women in the church exist for discipleship
within the unique circumstances of being a woman (Titus 2:3-4). Women are wives,
mothers and keepers of the home. Women are created as relational beings. We are called
to exhort and encourage, disciple and mentor one another.
Therefore, the women’s ministry at Church of the Redeemer exists:
1. To provide opportunities for women to have fun together and develop relationships
with one another.
2. Facilitate the multiplications of discipleship groups in which women are being lead
to spiritual maturity by other women.
Our goal is to ensure that all women attending Redeemer feel loved, encouraged and
connected with other women in our church body. Our desire is for all women to mature
spiritually through a life on life experience with other women in discipleship groups.
