Church planting
Making Jesus' invisible kingdom visible... through a Gospel Movement
We don't just want to plant one church. We want to be a church that plants churches. We need lots of new church in our city. And we believe that the continual planting of new congregations is the single most important factor for the numerical growth of the church in a city and the continual corporate renewal of the existing churches in a city.
Every church should have an operating strategy for church planting for the following reasons:
1- To be faithful to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)
2- New churches are most effective at reaching the "unchurched", new
generations, new residents, and new people groups.
3- Church planting creates the necessary "missional ethos" to inspire the
generosity and sacrifice that are an appropriate response to the gospel.
Without a commitment to church planning a church begins to exist only for
itself.
