From the Inside Out

Character is the ability to live from the inside-out and not the outside-in. To be internally motivated and not externally motivated. Consider Jesus and his disciples on the sea in the middle of a storm. The storm caused the disciples to become stormy on the inside. They cried out in fear and unbelief. But Jesus was at peace internally. Out of his internal calm he spoke and the sea itself was still. This is the kind of spiritual power all who follow Jesus are meant to display
