I. PEACE WITH GOD
Peace with God is an objective reality not a subjective feeling.
II. THE PEACE OF GOD
Peace with God leads to the peace of God.
III. BECOMING A PEACEMAKER
The peace of God makes you a peacemaker.
Discussion Questions:
1. What is the difference between peace with God and the peace of God? Which comes first?
2. Read Isaiah 26:3 together. What is “perfect peace”? How would you describe what it looks and feels like? How do you get it? What spiritual discipline does the verse call you to?
3. Isaiah 26:3 says that we get peace when we trust God. What argument does Paul make in Romans 5:1-11 for why you should trust God?
4. Are you a peace-maker or a trouble-maker? 5. Is there a relationship where you need peace? Pray for one another.
