Outline
I. GLORIFYING GOD – i.e. Adoration
God alone knows everything.
II. GRASPING FOR GODNESS – i.e. Sin
We (sinfully) grasp for omniscience because being a “know-it-all” feeds our ego.
III. GRACIOUS HUMAN-NESS – i.e. Embracing limits
Embracing our inability to know everything means trusting God and finding contentment in his management of the future.
IV. GOSPEL – i.e. Power
Knowing that you’re fully known in the gospel is the cure for needing to be a know-it-all.
