Discussion Questions

  1. What is your "before-and-after" faith story?
  2. Where do you experience epi-emotions in your life? Can you follow those emotions to the epi-desires that keep you trapped in sin?
  3. What does it (practically) mean to put off the old man and put on the new? Is this a one-time thing or something you have to do over and over again?
  4. Discuss the difference between the old way of the law and the new way of the Spirit (cf. Rom 7:6). Specifically, what does it mean to be "released from the law"?
  5. What "new thing" do you need God to do in your life?
